Amanda Sturdivant Obituary

1970 - 2021 Amanda Sturdivant, a loving daughter, wife and mother, passed away suddenly at her home in Covington, Louisiana on Sunday evening, October 31, 2021. Amanda was the wife of Jay Sturdivant for 22 years. She was the beloved daughter of Sandra Falk Moore and the late Edward E. Moore, Jr. Amanda was the proud mother of Jack Edward Sturdivant. She was the sister of the late Bill Hazzard of Covington and Scott Edward Moore of Houston, Texas, niece of Michael Falk and the late Roslyn Falk, cousin of Peter Falk and granddaughter of the late Lois and Peter Falk, all of New Orleans. Amanda graduated from the Academy of Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau and attended Southeastern University. She will be remembered for her beauty, wit, kindness and sparkle. Amanda never met a stranger. Services for Amanda will be private. The family would appreciate having her memory honored in private messages sent to her mother at [email protected].
