Rose Ann Gulisano
Rose Ann Volpicella Gulisano, 76, of West Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Gulisano. Rose Ann was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 28, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary Aiello Volpicella. She graduated from Saint Agnes Seminary in Brooklyn, New York in 1965. She attended the University of New Haven where she met the love of her life and future husband, Tony. Rose Ann and her late husband were the co-owners of Northeast Power Systems. She would later go on to work in industrial battery sales and engineering at Saft America in North Haven. She was the co-director of the Beacon on the Hill at Our Lady of Victory Church, West Haven. In 2018 she awarded the St. Joseph Medal from the Archdiocese of Hartford for her service to her community and social outreach. Her efforts at "The Beacon" helped many families in need. Rose Ann was a volunteer with the parent organizations for her daughters' schools, Seth Haley, Our Lady of Victory Middle School and Sacred Heart Academy. Mother of Maria (Mark) Warner, Jr. and Lisa (Richard) Crowther. Loving Grandmother Anthony and Christina Crowther and Andrew and Brendan Warner. Rose Ann found her greatest joy as becoming Nonna to her grandchildren.
The visiting hours will be Monday, April 1st from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning 10 a.m., April 2nd in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clelian Center, 261 Benham Street, Hamden, CT 06514. www.northhavenfuneral.com

Hi - so sorry for your loss. I used to work with your mom at Saft. She was such a great person always talking about you girls and her grandchildren. I have great memories of her.
