John E. "Jack" Henneberry, 81 of Oglesby, IL passed away on Sunday July 27th, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 5, 2025, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Utica, IL with Pastor Fr. Michael Driscoll officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning in the church from 10:00 AM till the time of service. Burial will be at St. Vincent's Cemetery in La Salle. Ptak Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Jack was born on December 30, 1943, to Richard J. and Marie (Duffy) Hennebery in La Salle. He married Carol Schmitz on February 23, 1963, in St. Patrick's Church in La Salle. Jack was a lifelong farmer on the family farm and operated Jack's Camp Store for 40 years. He was a member of St. Mary's church, Past Member of Oglesby Elks and the Farm Bureau of La Salle County. Jack enjoyed traveling to air shows with family and friends and was an avid Nascar race fan.
Jack is survived by his wife Carol, two sons John R and Vincent of Deer Park. Two daughters Christina (Shaun) Dougherty of Ottawa and Tracie (Steve) Mazzorana of La Salle. Three sisters Mary Jean (Jim) Loftus of Princeton, Rita (Frank) Mussatto of Ottawa and Jenny (Lowell) Beenenga of Tonica. Sister-In-Law Mary Beth, Richard (deceased). Seven Grandchildren, Megan, Veronica, Wyatt and Devyn Henneberry. Shea Dougherty, Mia and Miranda Mazzorana.
