Robert Evans Obituary

Robert Charles Evans from Rampart, Alaska, born July 7, 1989 - end of watch June 20, 2022.

Services will be held in Rampart and officiated by Anna Frank on July 7, 2022.

This is a testament to the life you lived and the people who love you fiercely. The words reflect the love we have for you. We want the world to know how kind and loving you were and all to understand the loss we will experience daily until we see you again. You were our peacemaker, the calm voice with the soft laugh and gentle words. The son, father, little brother and uncle we all needed. We want to remember how you lived your life ... the good and the bad. There were hard times but so many beautiful memories filled with laughter and love.

Robert Charles Evans leaves behind a huge and loving family from Rampart and Tanana, Alaska. The father of a son, Marlow Evans. Everyday he's a gift to our family; his loving parents, Paul Sr. and Linda M. Evans; sisters, Judith, Kristina and Sarah; a loving brother, Paul L. Evans Jr.; loving nephews, Ryan Ostlund and Justin Evans; niece, Hana R. Evans, and great-niece, Kaliah M. Ostlund. Robert brought out the best in us.

Robert Charles was a man of many facets and a wide variety of interests. He loved the outdoors and had a dream of building a cabin in Rampart back by the creek. Robert was keen about health and nutrition, always sharing his knowledge with his family. He enjoyed boxing and basketball from a young age. He truly enjoyed his time as a firefighter with the White Mountain initial attack crew. Robert loved to read. His favorite author was Paul Costello, and his favorite books "Warrior of the Light" and "The Alchemist." He truly loved being outside in the wilderness with his beloved German shepherd, King. Robert spent time in Chicago, Illinois, with Uncle Ben Joseph working. Robert was at home hunting and fishing with his family on the Yukon.

Goodbyes are temporary and love is forever. Rest now, truly loved. Dance with the northern lights.

It's already been two years and you are missed more then ever my dear friend. You were taken way too soon. I know you're in heaven, not hurting from Earthly problems anymore. I still remember your favorite Bible verse: "the Armor of God". I miss our long talks and your random visits at Red's house. You are sooo missed! I'll see you again my friend.

I have known Robert for so many years and he always carried a smile on his face and story to share. He touched my heart and I will forever keep him there with all the memories we shared. His love of the Chicago Bears.

Robert and I were classmates in Fort Yukon, we played basketball every chance we got, he's the only one that stayed on the court longer then me!!! We had some good times, this one time he talked me into walking to rampart from eureka rd where the trail starts at the end of eureka rd,I asked him how far ramp city was from where we parked, and he said, " Just a few miles" with a smirk on his face, he didn't tell me we had two creeks to cross and that it was like 20 miles!!! And about the last couple miles a 4 wheeler pulls up behind us, I think it was his uncle, a relative nonetheless and we got to ride the last few miles into town. It was a good trip overall tho, got to see that part of the country and meeting alot of nice people there. He will be missed and I'm glad that I got to know him, rest easy now my friend.
