Lydia Coutts Obituary

WEST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - Lydia Christine "Sis" (Long) Coutts, 86, of West Cameron Township, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 24, 2025. Sis was the widow of Larry D. "Hipper" Coutts who passed away, Feb. 26, 2022.

She was born Dec. 17, 1938, at home in West Cameron Township, she was a daughter of the late Marlin N. F. Long and Betty M. (Zimmerman) Long.

Sis dedicated her career to hard work, serving as a laborer for Mandata Poultry and Mr. Red's, a USDA Inspector, and an employee at Paper Magic. Even after retirement, she continued working at Knoebels for several years.

She was a devoted member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Sis had a love for crocheting, painting and arts and crafts. Most of all, she treasured the time spent with her family.

Sis will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Rebecca Horst; her son, Larry "Hub" Coutts and his wife, Stephaine; grandchildren, Shannon Ravy and her husband, Carlos, Ronnie Barrick and Shawn Rearick and his wife, Marie; and great-grandchildren, Kaluah, Angel and Peyton.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Marlin Long.

COUTTS - Lydia Christine "Sis" (Long) Coutts, 86, of West Cameron Township. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Foust Funeral Home LLC, Trevorton, Ryan G. Foust, supervisor. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
