OBITUARY
Wesley Van Boswell, age 64 of Monroe, passed away on August
2, 2025. Van was born on February 23,
1961 in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Boswell was
preceded in death by his brother, Skipper Jenkins.
Surviving members of the family are his loving wife of 19
years, Jan Boswell; daughter, Kristen Nicole Kiser; son, Jerry Matthew Wooddell;
parents, Robert Wesley Boswell and Sharon Gillette Boswell; grandchildren,
Austin Matthew Chance Wooddell, Alyssa Elizabeth Wooddell, Ava Gail Wooddell, Arianna
Mae Wooddell, Gibson Pohlel; great grandchildren, Brantley Wayne Neal and Ashton
River Neal; brothers, Kip Boswell (Kim), Troy Jenkins (Kim), Heath Jenkins,
Shane Jenkins; sister, Rickie Lee (James); nieces, Kalea Blair (Bruce), Kaitlyn
Boswell, Kourtney Boswell; great nephew, Charlie Blair; fur babies, Wallie
Boswell, Sissy Boswell, Sock Pocket Boswell, Memo Boswell.
Van was a tender hearted, loving, and charismatic man. He loved his family and friends, while
serving his Lord Jesus Christ through words and worship with a heart of a lion
after God.
A visitation with friends and family will be held at Monroe
Church of God on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday,
August 6, 2025 at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary of Monroe Church of God with Kip
Boswell officiating.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
