Richard King Obituary

Darryl was born in San Diego, California on October 12, 1954. When he was 4 years old his family moved to Missouri and subsequently to Wichita, Kansas. He had a passion for cars and had an extensive collection of Hot Wheels. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed science fiction. He loved The Beatles and specifically, "Because." This was his favorite song. His work for many years as a highly skilled automotive machinist was focused on rebuilding engines. He was very intelligent and articulate, however, as a man of few words this might have gone unnoticed by some. Darryl will be remembered as a loving, kind, and caring human being who cherished his daughter. He was loved by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include daughter Carla Schuder of Columbus, Ohio, sister Christine (Richard) Enwright Quincy, MA. brother Leonard (Shelia) King, Wichita, KS one grandchild Cullen Schuder of Columbus, Ohio, niece Miranda (Jeremy) Bega, Wichita, KS. Preceded in death by parents, Willard Orville and Ruth Irene King, partner and friend Audrey McLemore. The family would like to thank Infinity Hospice Care.
