Polvin Agner Obituary

Polvin Alex Agner, 76, of Dade City, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025.
Born on January 31, 1949, in Dade City, Alex spent his life rooted in the community he loved. He worked for many years at MultiLine Can Company, where he was known for his steady work ethic and good nature.
Alex had a deep love for the outdoors-hunting, fishing, boating, and camping were among his greatest joys. He often shared stories of his younger days, like riding his bicycle with a BB gun strapped to the handlebars to go squirrel hunting in what is now known as Tara Woods. His stories were always full of warmth and humor.
Alex was a man who never missed an opportunity to tell his family he loved them. He expressed his gratitude for even the smallest acts of kindness, making those around him feel valued and appreciated.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice Agner; his daughter, Nikki Agner; his grandson, Kyle Sanderson; his mother, Dorothy J. Agner; and his sisters, Susan McKendree, Gloria Agner, and Beverly Sumner and her husband, Todd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Polvin Earnest Agner.
Alex's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His warmth, his stories, and his unwavering love for his family will be sorely missed.
An informal gathering to celebrate Alex's life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 16515 Bellamy Brothers Blvd. Friends and family are welcome to stop by anytime during those hours to share memories and laughter and enjoy cold beverages and snacks.
