Patricia Ann Thompson, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Carrington Park.
She was born on April 17, 1946, in Fort Myers, Florida to Gerald Dean Corbitt and Ruth Eleanor (Nicholson) Corbitt graduated high school in 1963 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Patricia was employed for a time as a home health aide, but cherished the time spent at home raising her family the most.
A faithful member of Corpus Christi Parrish, attending St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, she loved to help her church with Bingo nights, festivals and teaching the young children during Sunday School. She was also a member of Catholic Daughter of America.
Pat was very fashionable, loved jewelry and makeup; if she liked something she had to have it in every color. She loved animals and enjoyed collecting Angels and elephants. When she wasn't working Bingo night, she loved to play and even more so when she won! Above all else she cherished the time spent with friends, family and her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Grandma Kitty."
She will be forever remembered by those she left behind, her children, Lana (Jeff) Hebert of North Pole, Alaska, Richard Thompson of Conneaut, Krissi (Anthony) Evans of Henderson, Nevada and Deana (Kenny) Rhodes of Conneaut;16 grandchildren, Desirae Martin, Brandon Thompson, Chandel Rettinger, Daniel Terry, Kayla Lynn, Ashlynn Felker, Asher, Auston and Andrew Hebert, Kori Thompson, Dominic, Phoenix and Lyric Evans, Deziraye (with child), Kenny, Jr. and Kaytlin Rhodes; 6 great-grandchildren, Logan, Luke and Luci Rettinger, Alison Martin, Tucker and Kinsley Terry and Elijah Rhodes, and one on the way; siblings, Gerald (Libby) Corbitt of Brunswick, Georgia, Jerry Corbitt of Las Vegas, Nevada, Denise (Craig) Sutton of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter-in-law, Brenda Thompson; and a brother-in-law, Lewis Hatton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald D. Corbitt and Ruth E. and Roger Graslin; dear children, Ronald N. Thompson, Jr., and Rhonda Flanigan; and her siblings, Sandy Hatton and Mike Corbitt.
Calling hours will be held, Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00PM with Deacon Nick Iarocci, officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
