PATRICIA ANN SCAVINCKY
Patricia "Pat" Scavincky, age 68 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away after a long illness Friday, August 5, 2022. Pat, formerly of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, was born on April 22, 1954, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania a daughter of George William Moore and Lillian Bernice (Brown) Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Ernest "Ernie" Charles Scavincky, Jr.; two sons, Ernest G. (Jill) Scavincky of Fallowfield Township, PA and Eric C. Scavincky of Pittsbugh, PA and three grandchildren, Ernest Joseph, Alexander and Evelyn.
Pat worked in the medical field for more than forty years, with experience as a medical office manager, a medical assistant and as an emergency medical technician. She was a CPR / Advanced First Aid instructor and had paramedic training.
She was a past member of the Borough of Jefferson Ambulance Association; she belonged to the Pennsylvania Civil Air Patrol, where she was a Communication Specialist, and she was a member of the West Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company where she served as the medical director and financial secretary
Pat loved horses and especially enjoyed team penning, she also enjoyed gardening, fishing, country music, oldies dances, target shooting and long scenic rides.
There will be no viewing or visitation and she will be buried in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania. Her family will have a public Memorial Service at a later date.
