Nelda Bruce Obituary
Nelda retired from Everman High School, where she was the school secretary. She was a devoted member of Central Christian Church and the Eastern Star. Nelda loved to travel, especially going to the coast, Ruidoso and to Oklahoma on "mission trips".
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Colton Bruce and by her three sisters, Joyce Hardison, Laneta McLain and Alma Baker.
Nelda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dannie Bruce Sr.; son, Dannie Bruce, Jr. and wife Carrie; grandchildren, Dr. Keelie Bruce, Cody Bruce and wife Kayley, and Kelsie Sullivan and husband Stephen; sister, Marie Russell; brother-in-law, Billy Bruce and wife Norma; nephew, Jamie Bruce; special friends and neighbors, Mark and Darlene Benson, Garrett Benson, and Nelda's Class and "Saturday Breakfast Brunch"; along with numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Funeral service: 11am on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Central Christian Church. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Monday, April 25, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Memorials: Central Christian Church or Colt Bruce Memorial Scholarship.
