Meredith Lee King Sr., 81 passed away at his home in Marietta Ga, on June 18, 2025. Born on September 30,1943, Meredith was known for his generosity, love for his family, particularly his boys, and his dog Max. He was an accomplished cook and a master electrician.
Meredith’s career as a master electrician and his knack for being a jack of all trades allowed him to touch many lives with his skill and dedication. Outside of his work, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking, always eager to provide for his family.
He leaves behind a loving family: his precious sons, Meredith King Jr. and wife Anna, Reggie King, and Greg King and wife Soraya. Meredith was a proud grandfather (Pop) to Morgan, Dillon Bailey and wife Lauren, Max, Mia, and Elizabeth Bailey and husband Reich. He also cherished his great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Karson, Colton, Tove, and Isaiah.
Meredith was preceded in death by his parents, John Burdette King Jr. and Dorothy King, and his brother Johnny King III.
Meredith's life was marked by his giving spirit, dedication to hard work and wonderful cooking.
In keeping with his wishes, no services are planned.
