Our beautiful and loving Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt, and friend Marilyn Call Jensen passed through this life to return to her heavenly home on May 24, 2022. She was surrounded by the love, joy and laughter of family and friends who loved and cherished her.

Our Mom was born February 27, 1929, in Clifton, Idaho to Clyde and Dora Call. She was the oldest of four children. She grew up in a small farming community where she met the love of her life, our beloved Dad, Dale Delin Jensen. They were married on March 3, 1948, later solemnized in the Logan Temple on October 14, 1952.

She was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings throughout her life. She had a deep love for her faith that never wavered. Her love of the Gospel and her faith in the Eternal Plan helped her remain strong as she looked forward to her reunion with her eternal companion.

Mom found solace in gardening, reading, and crocheting blankets for each new baby, a sought-after gift that was truly made with love. She had so much love and devotion for her kitty, Katie, who kept her company for 22 years. They were such a great match.

After our Dad passed, Mom carried the family torch for 26 years. Nothing brought more smiles and happiness to her face than her role as "Grammy J" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To see her light up when any of them walked in the room or to watch the smile when she held one of her new grandbabies was so heartwarming. Mom's ability to love and spoil them has left a lifetime of treasured memories in the hearts of each of them.

Later in life, she moved to the Inn at Barton Creek, where she enjoyed Bingo, exercise classes and crafting with her new friends.

She is survived by her 7 children, Dalene Fornelius (Doug Macfarlane), Darrell Jensen, Linda (Chuck) Boodman, David (Julie) Jensen, Mark (Rhonda) Jensen, Mary Ann (Don) Walker, Diane (Ken) Nye; 19 Grandchildren, and 40 Great Grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Schvaneveldt and Kathryn Marsh. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Jensen, her parents, brother Leland, grandson Bryan Jensen and other heavenly angel babies.

We would like to acknowledge her guardian angel at Barton Creek, Val, and all the special people there who touched her life and ours. Our family was especially blessed by the love and guidance of a true angel, Mom's hospice nurse, Carly Sotelo who provided amazing care for our mother and guided us through some very difficult days. Mom left our lives full of love and our hearts broken. She will surely be missed.

A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 1 at 12:00 PM at the Centerville City Cemetery, 490 S. 700 E. Centerville, Utah. Prior to the graveside service there will be a private family viewing at 10:30 AM at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.
