Lloyd George Williams, also known as "English", was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 24th, 1955 and departed this earthly life on November 13th, 2024, after a long battle with diabetes.
He was the beloved son of Linda Tracey and Kenneth Williams. Lloyd moved to England with his three sisters, Audrey, Carol, and Fay, to live with his father temporarily, earning his nickname "English". He returned to Jamaica shortly after. He met his wife, Florizel Williams when they were 17 years old. They welcomed two daughters into their lives, Jennifer and Keisha Williams. In 1988, he migrated with his family to the United States. Lloyd had an immense passion for trucks. He worked in various places as a professional truck and tractor trailer driver until he was the owner and operator of L&E Transport. He was a very hard worker, a reliable friend, a beloved husband, loving father, dependable and silly grandfather, and recently an awe-inspiring great-grandfather.
Illness urged him to retire from truck driving in 2022. Sadly, it also took him home on November 13th, 2024. He is survived and loved by his wife, Florizel Williams, daughters Jennifer and Keisha Williams, his son-in-law Richard Brown, his grandchildren, Breanna, Alexander, and Corey Fredericks, and great-grandchild Amir Fredericks. His sisters Audrey and Fay, his nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends mourn his loss.
We have lost a strong, loyal "family man" who is irreplaceable. He will surely be missed.
