Kathy A. Rann, age 66, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home with her family by her side after a courageous battle for the second time with pancreatic cancer. She was born November30, 1955, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Richard and Ruth Wolf. Kathy was a people person in the truest sense of the word. Going out in public with her was like walking to Cheers with Norm! People were drawn to Kathy because of her warmth, empathy, humor, and generous spirit. Kathy had many hobbies but a few of her favorites were crocheting, collecting antique chocolate molds, and making rosaries for family and friends.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Tom; son Clayton; grandson, Gannon; brothers: John (Mary), Tom (Diane); sisters: Jean, Mary, and Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. with the rosary being prayed at 7 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home.
Those desiring, may make contributions in Kathy's honor in lieu of flowers to a GoFundMe page that has been set up to assist the family with her medical expenses at https://gofund.me/81002e52
