Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Kay (Toney) Himes of Union City, Ohio; and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
Julie is survived by her husband, Brian Kennedy; her sons, Ian and Dylan Kennedy of Winchester; her father, Robert Himes, of Ridgeville, Indiana; her brothers, Robert Himes, Jr. of Union City, Indiana and James Himes of Greenville, Ohio; her sister, Marcia Himes of Warsaw, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Julie's life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 720 N. Plum Street, Union City, IN 47390.
Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, August 12 as well as from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, all at the church.
Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerswinchester.com.
