Jon-Claude William "JC" Harris, 32, passed away on June 18, 2025, in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Born on January 1, 1993, in Honolulu, Hawaii, JC spent his early years surrounded by the natural beauty of the islands before later moving to Maryland and then to North Carolina. He graduated from New Bern High School and later pursued his passion for helping others at Coastal Carolina Community College. There, he earned his massage therapy license and was actively training to become an EMT and paramedic.
JC was a devoted husband to Athena and a loving father to their two children. His family was the center of his world, and he poured his heart into every moment spent with them. He is also survived by his mother, Claudine, his brother, David, and his nephew, whom he loved incredibly. He was preceded in death by his father, David Harris.
Outside of his professional pursuits and family life, JC found joy in video games and skateboarding-interests that reflected both his playful nature and adventurous spirit.
May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him. A Memorial Service will be held on July 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1830 Chestnut Drive. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 12, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Pioneer Family Restaurant 10914 North Main St., Archdale, NC 27263.
