Schneider, John R. Loving husband of Lisa (Beckman) Schneider. Beloved father of Jon (Patti) Schneider, Danny (Rebecca) Schneider, Carley Schneider (James Pettway), and Billy (Abby) Schneider. Cherished grandfather of Kylie Flores, Anna, Owen, and Wyatt Schneider. Dear brother of Karen (Mike) Gardner, Mary (Mike) Schmidt, and the late Tom (liv. Janine) Schneider. Preceded in death by his parents, John "Jack" and Mary (Harvey) Schneider. John was a proud veteran of the US Army serving in the 1st calvary division. He was a hard worker and could fix anything. John had a great sense of humor and always made those around him laugh, especially his loving family. One of John's favorite things to do was relax in front of the tv. He passed away peacefully on February 18th at the age of 63. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 25th from 4pm-7pm at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd Harrison, OH 45030. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 26th at 10am at St. John the Baptist Church, 10010 Carolina Trace Rd Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial of cremains with military honors to follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. Since being diagnosed with cancer, John always felt that children should not suffer through this disease, therefore in lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Cancer Research Fund.
A Celebration of Life for John will take place on Saturday, February 26th from 1pm-4pm at The American Legion, 10700 Campbell Rd, Harrison, OH 45030.
