Words are inadequate to express our sympathy to Mary and the entire family. Jim touched countless lives with his humor, knowledge, compassion and undeniable high-fives. He will truly be missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing him and spending time with him. We hope you find comfort in knowing what a legacy he has left. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

The Rayfield family sends our deepest sympathy to the Bloomberg family. Jim was a true gentleman and one of the best cattlemen in the business. I had the honor of judging with him and will never forget that experience. Our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Jim was not only a great judge of good cattle, but a great analyst of the entire beef industry. Wether that be the show cattle side or the more important commercial beef production, Jim could see the big picture.
Will be missed, definitely. Thank you, Jim, but way too short of time.

Richard and I first met Jim in the late 80s at the Oldies But Goodies Sale. Dan Hoge made the introductions and Jim was completely covered with graphite, head to toe. That was the beginning of a deep friendship that went beyond cattle. I will always treasure his memory, his strong hug, and his genuineness. God bless you all.

My heart goes out to the Bloomberg and Ray Families. The loss of Jim is a loss to anyone and everyone who knew him. Such an impactful person, I know that Jim has had a large influence on me and my family. His love for family was so easily seen so I can only imagine the pain that you Mary, and Blake, and Jamie, and Jake, the grandchildren, and all the family members, must be feeling at this time. Jim never met a stranger and his helpful demeanor and positive interaction with people is just part of the legacy that he leaves behind, qualities that I see he passed on to his children. Our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences goes out to all of you. Respectfully, Curt and Pam Rincker Family

For a person who makes a living with words, I find I am still at a loss as I try to write this message. I loved talking to Jim, he was one of the most interesting, down to earth clients I have ever known. And I treasure the time I have spent with Mary, although it has not been nearly enough these last several years. You, and your family, are simply wonderful people that have made a huge impact in this world. May the Lord bless you as you navigate the future. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.
