Jeanne C. Parker, Age 87, died of pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2022 in Port Orange, FL.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Walter "Ted" K. Parker.
Jeanne is survived by three brothers; Maurice Lamothe of Shreveport, LA, Paul Lamothe of Hopedale, MA, and Gerard Lamothe of New Port Richey, FL, also two sisters; Mary Laliberte of the Villages, FL and Claire Dunton of New Port Richey, FL. She was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Shea and brother Edward Lamothe.
Jeanne is also survived by her three children; Anne-Marie Kistner(Ted Kistner) of Port Orange, FL, Walter K. Parker II(Dyan Parker)of Douglas, MA and John P Parker(Pam Parker)of Norton, MA.
She was much loved by her grandchildren, Ted Kistner, Crystal Kistner, Cameron Parker and Troy Parker, along with her great grandchildren Riley Kistner and Dominic Kistner.
Jeanne was born in Mendon, MA on September 9, 1934 to Aram and Blanche Lamothe. She worked at Lowell's Dairy as a teen and graduated from Mendon High School in 1952. Jeanne graduated from Wilfred Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture in Boston, MA in 1954. She worked as both a hairdresser and school bus driver/instructor for many years in Whitinsville, MA where she and "Ted" resided until 1988 when they embarked on an 11 + year tour of the US in their prized motor home.
Jeanne was an active volunteer for 15+ years at Sun 'n Fun Flyin in Lakeland, FL where she worked in the Gifts of Flight. Because of her involvement with Sun 'n Fun, Jeanne was lucky enough to fly in many different types of aircraft including the Goodyear Blimp and many warbirds. During these years she lived at the Suwannee Belle Airport in O'Brien FL where she and Ted had their own Cessna 152.
In 2013, they moved to Port Orange, FL where Jeanne grew to love her new community, Crane Lakes. At Crane Lakes she was always present for every golf cart parade decorated top to bottom, every dance where she earned the name "Jeanne Jeanne the dancing machine"! But Jeannes biggest passion was BINGO! She volunteered at bingo and participated with much enthusiasm. She cherished her Bingo buddies. Jeanne resided at Crane Lakes until two months before her death.
Jeanne was surrounded by her three children at the time of her passing at Wickshire Senior Living in Port Orange. In the brief time she was there she was cared for by angels and made many friends.
A mass and funeral are being planned for October of 2022. Donations may be made in her name to the Florida Air Museum, Lakeland, FL.

Jeanne will forever be in my memory as one of the most beautiful"ladies" that Uve known. She exhuded love and caring always available with a smile. I pray that her family knows how much she was admired.

I just learned that this beautiful woman is now an Angel. When I remember Jeanne , I remember how beautifully she dressed, her smile and her love of life. The world will miss her kindness and her laugh. God´s Blessings to her family and friends.
