James Spencer Obituary

Spencer, James Michael passed May 6, 2022 suddenly in Montgomery, Ohio at the age of 57 yrs. He was born on March 2, 1965 in Cincinnati, OH to Sandra Spencer (nee Thornton). He married the love of his life Patricia C. Spencer (Evans) of 36 loving and caring years. He was blessed with 2 children James M. Jr. (Kaitlin) Spencer and Laura A. (Aaron Sheets) Spencer. Brother of Glenn E. (Sherry) Spencer and the late Troy, Marvin Spencer and Cheryl A. Cobb. Cherished grandfather of Greyson Albaugh, and Noah and Nora Spencer. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members. The Spencer family will welcome family and friends for a Celebration of Life visitation on Tuesday 5/10/22 6 PM to 8 PM all at the Moore Family Funeral Home 225 Spring Street Batavia, Ohio (513) 723-2221. Service Wednesday 12 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial and graveside service to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery. Jim worked for 14 years in Custodial/Maintenance for Clermont Northeastern Schools. He dedicated his time to many CNE youth athletes from 1994-2014 coaching Youth Football, Middle School Football and Girls High School Softball. He ran the game clock for CNE the past 26 years at home football games and in the past years for CNE Basketball. He was also active with his local church community, including chaperoning youth Mission Trips to Gatlinburg, TN.
