Heidi Renee Reinhardt, 48 (formerly of Hampton Twp. NJ) passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2022, surrounded by her family.
In keeping with Heidi's loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to be an organ donor so that two other families now have a second chance at life through her organ donation.
Heidi was born April 19,1974 in Livingston, New Jersey to Robert and the late Judith (Eid) Reinhardt.
A 1992 graduate of Kittatinny Regional High School, Heidi attended Davenport University where she earned a degree in Prehospital Emergency Medical Services.
Heidi made it her mission to care for the sick and the elderly through her work. First as a paramedic, then as a system/application manager for NYU Medical Center, then after needing her own care in 2011 from a severe illness, she became a CNA at the very same facility who assisted her in her own rehabilitation. For the past ten years Heidi's career has led her to work in long term care with the current position of Clinical Admissions Director at Complete Care.
Heidi enjoyed a lifelong passion for art and painting, often staying up all hours of the night creating beautiful works of art on her iPad with the sounds of Law & Order or Criminal Minds on the TV in the background.
She also enjoyed traveling to beautiful destinations with her sisters, watching the NY Yankees with her dad, going to the movies with her brother, scrapbooking weekend getaways with her friends, and quiet time at her happy place, Squam Lake in New Hampshire.
For Heidi, family and friends always came first. Heidi was a giving, caring, and selfless soul who was always there to lend an ear, helping hand or comforting hug to anyone in need.
Heidi is survived by her father, Bob, her two sisters, Julianne and Jessica, and brother Robert, her fur-nieces Georgia and Harley, and a host of family and friends. Heidi is predeceased by her mother, Judy.
Heidi was a lover of reading, baking, scrapbooking, jewelry making, giggling, M&Ms, Grover and "The Monster at the End of This Book", Legos, pickles, and, of course, everything Halloween. Share all of these things with those you love today and whenever possible.
