Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
Harold is survived by his special friend: Jarriel "Jay" Brewer of Salem, MO; children: Allister Hamilton and wife Tara of Albuquerque, NM, Mitchell Hamilton of Crocker, MO, Courtney Friend and husband Josh of Crocker, MO, and Caitlin Hamilton and fiancé Jason of Crocker, MO; siblings: Lynda Asby and husband David of Kansas City, MO, Leslie Booth and husband Dan of Kansas City, MO, and David Hamilton and wife Sherry of Selina, KS; grandchildren: Allister II, Alexander, and Augustine; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding him in death were his adopted parents: Glen and Jean Hamilton; birth father: Earl Slayton; and birth mother: Patricia Williams Freeland.

At Harold's request, only white arrangements of flowers or plants are to be sent to his service. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Harold Hamilton to the Salem Public Library and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
