Greta Chandler Ardoin Tilton Brown Obituary

Greta Ann Chandler passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Greta was born on October 19, 1945, to Clyde and Lena Mae Chandler. She was a retired seamstress. She enjoyed shopping and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her greatest pride and joy was her family.
Greta leaves behind her two daughters, Twila Ardoin Trahan and husband, Greg, and Carla Ardoin Clark; seven grandchildren, Lacie Trahan, Jared Ardoin, Brock Trahan, T.J. Vidrine, Chandler Matte, and Madison Trahan; ten great-grandchildren, Devin, Bentley, Connor, Branson, Sandra, Cameron, Caidien, Jettsen, Jeremiah, and Jolie; sisters, Shirley Carlton and Dale Bracken; and brothers, Jene Chandler, Jerry Chandler, Clyde Chandler, and Billy Chandler.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lena Mae Chandler; sisters, Wilda Joe and Doris Jones; and brother, Jack Fairchild.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 2:30 PM until 6:00 PM.
