Geraldine M. Milliron, 93, formerly of Renovo, PA, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Regional Hospital, Scranton, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin T. Milliron, Sr. on May 15, 2007.
Born September 15, 1928 in Allport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Johnston Linberg.
For the past eleven years Geraldine had resided with her son in the Scranton area where she enjoyed spending time at the West Scranton Senior Center. She was retired from Bucktail Medical Center, Renovo, where she was employed as a licensed practical nurse. While residing in Renovo she was a member of the Christian Community Church. Geraldine enjoyed crocheting and was known for her hand made scrubbies. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother by her entire family.
She is survived by three sons: Melvin Milliron, Jr., and wife, Kathy, Carl Milliron and wife, Cindy and James Milliron and wife, Diann; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Private services for family will be held at a later date with interment at the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde, PA.
Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
