Geoffrey Alan Barnes
Age 46, passed away on Jan 12, 2022 in Rochester, NY. He was born Apr 29, 1975 in Elmira, NY, the son of Clark Alan Barnes & Betty Jean (Coon) Barnes.
Geoff graduated with the Class of 1994 from Elmira Christian Academy, Studied Criminal Justice at CCC and was employed as a Fork Truck driver at Anchor Glass Container for over 22 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, football, going to the movies, and playing video games. He loved the football rivalry between he and his sister Kim, he for the Bills and she for the Steelers. He often hosted LAN parties in his basement for his many nephews, playing video games well until the early morning hours. He is the little brother to his siblings, but a Big Brother Uncle to his many nieces and nephews. A gentle giant who always loved and protected his family.
Geoff is predeceased by his mother, Betty Barnes. He is survived by his wife Kelly Bailey Barnes of 22 years, married Feb 20, 1999; daughter Kirstin Bailey; granddaughters Molly and Alanah Ellis.
He is also survived by his father Clark A. Barnes; brothers and sisters Douglas Barnes, Vicky (Nick) Shaban, Kevin Barnes, Tammy (Dwayne) Eggers, Suzette Lutcher, Kimberle Seigh; nieces and nephews Jonathan Shaban, David Shaban, Bridget Ringler, Jacob Barnes, Phillip Eggers, Christopher Eggers, Zachary Eggers, Ryan Lutcher, Matthew Lutcher, Rachel Lutcher, Caleb Seigh, Ashlyn Seigh, Elijah Seigh, great nieces and nephews: Shane Shaban, Madison Shaban, Derrick Adrianzen, Eralyn Adrianzen, Quinn Shaban, Danielle Ringler, Ava Marie Gray, Lola Bell Gray, Aidan Preston, Gabriel Preston, Faolan Preston, Abby Preston, Adrieanna Presher, Maddox Presher, Liam Seigh, and Mia Hunt.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Central Assembly of God, 1 Brenway Dr., Horseheads, NY on January 22, 2022 at 1 pm, officiated by Rev Joseph Chamberlain.
