Edward Rolland McIntyre, III. was born November 5, 1978, in Canton, Ohio to Edward and Tanya McIntyre. Eddie attended Canton City Schools and earned his GED in 1997. At an early age Eddie was fond of collecting hot wheels and putting together model cars, and by his teen-age days showed a great interest in mechanics and developed a love for Cadillacs in particular; he became known in the city for driving Cadillacs, like his dad!
Everyone that knew Eddie, knew he was a loyal and adamant Steeler's Fan; it was black and yellow all day for him! Eddie was the life of any gathering, he was notorious for roasting people, laughing and joking all the time! He enjoyed shooting pool, playing spades, and was a Dominoes champ! Believe it or not, he also was an avid collector of shoes, and he took great pride in cooking and grilling. Most of all he treasured spending time with his family, whom he loved without question.
Eddie was well known and popular in Stark County and he had a close-knit group of friends that he called his brothers and host of associates and acquaintances. He owned his own Lawn Care Service, and at the at the time of his passing, he was employed by Union Metal in Canton, Ohio. Eddie was always looking ahead for good weather days, to ride his Yamaha Venture; his favorite mantra was that riding his motorcycle was "Wind Therapy" for him.
Edward is preceded in death by his Father, Edward R. McIntyre, Jr.; Grandfather, James R. McInnis, Jr; Grandmother Ora Lee Hancox. Leaving behind to cherish his memories: His dedicated and loving wife, Kilwanna Lynn McIntyre of 24 years; their wo amazing sons Kahleel Lashawn and Edward Rolland, IV; his 2 beautiful daughters, Janyah Marie, and Nelisha Monae and his precious baby granddaughter, Kamyah La'Ray. His Mother, Tanya L. McIntyre of Canton, Ohio; Grandmother, Ann McInnis of Twinsburg, Ohio; 5 siblings, Marvin H. Johnson of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Amilah L. Johnson-Williams of Canton, Ohio, Tonia (Rick) Bell of Columbus, Georgia, Troy McIntyre of Canton, Ohio, and Rochae (Dale) Price of Columbus, Ohio. Eddie adored his first-born niece, "Uncle Baby" Nequaiah (Credale) Slaughter of Canton, Ohio; Mother-in-Law, Evelyn Mayle, Sister-in-law, Jennifer Mayle, and Brother-in-law Gerald Mayle. Eddie loved all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and every one of his first Cousins on both sides of his family. He leaves countless memories and unbreakable brotherly bonds with his Cousin, Greg McIntyre and his best friends, Craig Campbell, and Cory Baity.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Trinity Gospel Temple, 1612 Tuscarawas St. W. Canton, Ohio 44708 from 10am to 12pm with services to follow at 12pm with Pastor John McIntyre Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
