David Lee King, 68, of Taylorsville, Georgia, went home be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Born on March 21, 1957, he was the son of the late Willie Lee King and the late Martha Ledford King. David is also preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jo Bramblett King; daughter, Michelle King; and brother, Jimmy King.
David was a devoted member of Cloverleaf Missionary Baptist Church. He loved NASCAR and watching the Braves. He enjoyed being outdoors and working on old engines like his lawnmower and cars.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Morton, daughter, Stefanie Leonard (Kirk); brother, Fred King; aunt, Doris King; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at Cloverleaf Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00pm on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, David's family requests donations be made out to Stefanie Leonard. Stefanie's Cash App is $stefking80
