Passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 60. Born May 12, 1962 to John and Dorothy (Hoffman) Pauwels in Lansing, Michigan. Darryl worked for V.A. Bliesener Construction before starting his own vending business. He was a skilled craftsman, always ready to lend a hand when someone was doing a car repair or home improvement project. He enjoyedfishing, bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and cooking for family and friends. He also liked watching sports, especially his Detroit Lions, Michigan Wolverines, and NASCAR Racing.
Darryl was loved by many and will be missed by all who remember him. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings David, John, and Joanne. He is survived by his wife Patricia Pauwels; sons, Nicholas and Devin Pauwels; sisters, Janice (Martin) Pennell, June (Gary) Baley, Jeanne Pauwels and Deborah Cogswell, as well as many nieces and nephews.
