Cristina Nicole Abruzzese of Lynnfield, MA, formerly Revere passed away on April 30, 2025. She was born in Winchester, MA on July 26, 1977. She was the loving daughter of Michele (Michael) and Maddalena Abruzzese. She was a devoted sister of Dino Michele and Marco Nicolo Abruzzese and aunt of Peter and Nico Abruzzese. Cristina was predeceased by grandparents Constantino and Angiola (Blasi) Abruzzese and Nicolo Augusto and Margherita (Carullo) DeInnocentis. Cristina attended Lynnfield High School from 1991 to 1995. She graduated from Boston College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and in 2001 with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. She worked at various places such as the family business, Roman Iron Works, Inc., J. Pace & Son, East Boston Saving Banks, Eastern Bank, Lakeside School in Peabody and Veterans Memorial Elementary School in Saugus. Cristina loved the "simple" and most important things in life like spending time with family and friends. With her family, she looked especially forward to the memories spent around the dinner table. She took great pleasure in going out shopping, planning special events and traveling with her parents. She found great satisfaction in helping her brother, Dino take care of her nephew Nico who she adored. She appreciated spending quality time and having meaningful conversations with her nephew, Peter who she was so proud of. She enjoyed doing various things with her brother Marco like spending time with the family dog, Maximus, watching tv shows/movies and having discussions about life in general. Also, she had a deep affection for the time she spent with friends going out for walks, coffee and outings at restaurants. The family appreciates your support during this difficult time and requests that any floral tribute be replaced with donations in Cristina's memory to the following organization: NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), 331 Montvale Avenue 2nd Floor, Woburn, MA 01801. Online donations can be made at www.namimass.org.
Arrangements: Her funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua, 250 Revere Street, Revere, MA at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be at the Woodlawn Mausoleum, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA.
