Cheryl Parrott Brown, 64, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 after a brief but valiant battle against cancer.
She was born in Louisville to the late Charles and Lily Smith Parrott, and a graduate of Fairdale High School. She was a paralegal for O'Bryan, Brown & Toner, PLLC.
Cheryl lived a full life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and was passionate about animals. Her only regret was that she never got to see the elephants.
She is survived by her husband, Donald K. Brown, Jr.; her children, Joanna Kristine Brown-Leonardi, M.D. (Bart), Cynthia Marie Brown McReynolds, Ph.D. (Dave), William Paul Hinson, and James Dean Hinson; her brothers, Charles Parrott (Kim), and Ray Parrott (Lynn); her five grandchildren, Emma, Katie, Elliot, Abby and Maria; and many loving nieces and grand-nieces.
Her visitation will be Monday, May 9th, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, KY. A brief service will follow at 5:00 pm at Highlands. There will be a private burial at a later date.
Cheryl will be missed by everyone who loved her and called her friend.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The National Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue or the donor's favorite animal charity.
