On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Carolyn Sue Worrall, age 89, died peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by loved ones. Carolyn was born on December 30, 1932 to Herman and Clara Neidiffer in New Albany, IN, where she spent her entire life. She graduated from New Albany High School in 1950. Carolyn met her husband Keith on a blind date in 1952, they married in 1953, and were blessed to spend 63 anniversaries together.
Carolyn leaves behind many loved ones: daughters Jana (Dan) Luallen and Patty (Dave) Smith; sons Alan (Jolanda) Worrall, John (Theresa) Worrall, and Brad (Andrea) Worrall; grandchildren Chris Luallen, Wes Luallen, Eric Luallen, Brian Luallen, Lori Tyree, Cory Worrall, Samantha Smith, Whitney Locke, Sara Popp, Dustin Banet, Zach Worrall, Clara Worrall, and Lilly Worrall; great-grandchildren Jacob, Christyn, Teagen, Kaden, Owen, Jackson, Austin, Peyton, Lily, Hunter, Maggie, Corbin, Rayne, Max, Caleb, Jaxon, Elaine, Fallon, and Evelyn; sister Loretta Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends Marty Collings and Joanne McKinley. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Keith Worrall; parents Herman and Clara Neidiffer; brothers Eugene Neidiffer and Irvin Neidiffer; and sisters Mildred Hottel and Margaret Woodruff.
Carolyn was a life-long member of Culbertson Baptist Church where she spent Sunday mornings worshiping with her church friends and enjoyed her Bible study group. She was a clerk at the Floyd County BMV for many years before retiring in 1994. She then worked part-time at Jim O'Neal Ford for several more years. Carolyn loved spending time with family and especially enjoyed big family vacations. She enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports. She belonged to a bunco club that she and her friends started when they were 18 years old and, while they had to adapt over the years, they were still meeting once a month. Carolyn was a member of Lift where she attended monthly lunches and went on many bus trips with the group. Her favorite hobby was shopping, and she liked nothing more than to find the clearance racks, especially at Kohl's with a 30% off coupon in her purse. Carolyn loved her church, so those wishing to make a donation in her memory can do so to Culbertson Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 12:00-8:00 PM on Monday, June 27, at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes in New Albany(1119 E. Market St.) and from 9:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28 at Culbertson Baptist Church with the funeral following at 11:00 AM.

Jana and your siblings , I have a perfectly clear picture of your mom sitting on Mildred's porch, with Brad standing between her knees. Lara and I were there visiting. We are all just enjoying each other's company. I also remember the occasional walks from Mildred's to your Mom's house. Your mother's gentle frankness and her humor were always appreciated. Carolyn was indeed special!
Much sympathy and love. Julie
