Brenda Mae Brittain Reinhardt Turner, age 78, of North Drive, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Testa Family Hospice House. She was born December 30, 1943, in Gaston County to the late Willard and Velleree Brittain. Brenda was a member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and loved to sing gospel music with her sisters. She retired from Carlton Mill and enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard. Brenda also enjoyed collecting bells. She was an amazing cook and she loved camping.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Reinhardt; sister, Betty Hamrick; and nephew, Marty Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William Franklin "Whitey" Turner; son, Roger Reinhardt (Sherry); daughter, Velleree Loretta Bauer; stepson, John Turner, stepdaughter, Patricia Hamrick; foster children, Connie Grant Hallman, and Junior Brittain; sisters, Norma Jean Smith, Nathalee Kaylor (Roger), and Mary Kaylor; grandchildren, Derek Owens (Haley), Bradley Reinhardt (Kelli), Neely Anderson (Jason), Sarah Lynn (Chris), Veronica Bauer, Kain Bauer; great-grandchildren, Dylan Reinhardt, Parker Anderson, Rylee Anderson, Gabriel Bauer, and Noah Lynn; and her beloved pet, Patchy.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating.
Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45PM prior to the funeral at the church.
