Brenda Johnson Obituary
Brenda was born on December 9, 1943 in Montgomery County, NC to the late George Morton and Jessie Green Morton. She was a graduate of West Montgomery High School, and graduate of Appalachian State University in 1966 and UNC Charlotte in 1984. Brenda was a Special Education teacher for 43 years.
She is survived by sons: Brian Johnson (Amy), daughters Jordan and Alyssa of Albemarle and Matt Johnson (Sonya), daughter Katie and son Josh West of Troy; brother: Herman Morton (Teresa) of Troy.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Troy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reese Linnell officiating. Burial will be at Uwharrie United Methodist Church Cemetery.
