UXBRIDGE – Beverly A. Palmer, 100, passed away on Thursday June 23 in Advinia Care, Northbridge. She was the wife of the late C. Jasper Palmer who died in 2001.
Beverly worked as a secretary at the former Stanley Woolen Mills in Uxbridge for 30 years.
She was born in Oxford the daughter of the late Curtis and Elsie (Sochia) Eames and graduated from Oxford High School and Becker College.
Beverly was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Rebekka Lodge, a choir member at Whitinsville Methodist Church, line dancing enthusiast and avid reader.
She is survived by 2 sons, Reed W. Palmer and his wife Melanie of Rutland, MA, Curtis C. Palmer and his wife Jill of Uxbridge, MA; a daughter, Jean A. Burton and her husband Christopher of Plymouth; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 2 from 10-11 A.M. in the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., Uxbridge followed by a funeral service at 11 A.M. in the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Uxbridge Senior Center, 36 South Main Street, Uxbridge, MA 01569.
