BAMBI LaCHELLIE (McGUIRE) JOHNSON, was born March 6, 1979, and departed this life, April 25, 2022, at her home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-three years.
On May 19, 1999, Bambi was united in marriage with the love of her life, eternal best friend and forever partner, Timothy "Tim" Johnson. Together Bambi and Tim shared nearly twenty-three years of laughter and memories while raising their son, Zane.
Bambi graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1997. She was currently the general manager of Holiday Inn Express in Lebanon. Her work ethic was unmatched and those she worked with became her extended family.
Bambi was happiest at the beach. She made it her mission to convince her friends and family that they should travel to the beach too. She wanted all of those she loved to experience the beauty of the ocean. She was a self-proclaimed "control freak" and lacked patience in most aspects of her life, except when it came to shelling. She spent hours and hours hand picking shells that had specific beauty worth keeping. It was her wish, that everyone take a keepsake, a token of beauty to remember her by.
Bambi was beautiful from the inside out. Her crystal blue eyes twinkled when she laughed, and her laugh was infectious. She loved her family deeply. She was selfless, vibrant and giving, notably the best gift giver in the family. She loved helping others and never wanted any recognition. She loved, love.
Bambi is survived by her husband Tim; one son, Zane, both of the home; siblings, Tara King and her husband Alex, Melissa Waterworth and her husband Josh Bogan and Chris Waterworth, all of Lebanon, MO; her grandfather that raised her, Tucker McGuire, also of Lebanon; her best friend, Elizabeth (Menjares) Gibson and her husband Travis and their family of Ozark, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Violet McGuire.
At the end of life, all we can hope is we had a positive influence on those we love and loved us. We pray that we leave behind enough memories that the stories will continue to be told and eventually, over time, more laughter than tears. Ultimately, the phrase "What's for dinner" will forever bring a smile to all of us. It was a life well lived and a legacy to continue. You loved well Bambi, and you will forever be missed.

On the subject of funerals I want to plan my own! I want to pick the music. Write the eulogy. Choose the flowers that cover the casket. Also, create a keepsake for each person to take home. Tim says this proves just how much of a control freak I am! Maybe so He also says that Vanilla Ice, AC/DC, Justin Timberlake and Lil Wayne are inappropriate when it comes to funeral music. I say let's get this place bumping!!!

Some things have changed. No casket, cremation only for me, but definitely want to make sure that whomever is speaking asks everyone there WHAT ARE YOU HAVING FOR DINNER?! (I really am just hoping to make everyone laugh) Also still wanna send everyone off with a keepsake. Back in 2013 I had only been vacationing a few years but now it's clear what my keepsake should be Everyone will get a seashell that I have personally found myself while on vacation. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm the most impatient person in the world, but those same people know that I can spend hours upon HOURS shelling Whether it's walking along the surf picking them up or simply sitting in the sand and surf digging them up Every shell I have I have found or dug up myself and was beautiful in it's own way Also they better include the rap music and that one folk song that I have added to the list since I first posted this. :)
