David White Obituary

Struthers - David Allen "Whitey" White, 76, a lifelong resident of Struthers, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024 surrounded by his family at home. 

He was born December 5, 1947 in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Betty (McKean) White. He graduated from Struthers High School and for his career worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Aliquippa, East Chicago, and Copperweld.  

David was a kind man who often kept to himself. He enjoyed the simple things in life, such as spending time at Lake Hamilton (which happened to be in his backyard), or being the best dad and grandpa to his family. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, the former Maria Mrgan, whom he married September 29, 1973; his only daughter, Colleen (fiancé Ray Tamburro) Gordon of Struthers; his two grandchildren, Taylor and Troy Gordon; siblings, Gary (Jill) White of Poland, Jeff (Cynthia) White of New Bern, NC, Laura Bailey of Campbell, Debbie Cabuno of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Barbara Mrgan of Struthers; brother-in-law, Marko Mrgan of Canfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Jody White Molina; and brothers-in-law, Mark Bailey, Michael Cabuno, and John Mrgan.

Per David's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
