February 6, 1968 - January 6, 2025

Kevin L Hermanson, "Vito", aged 56, of New Glarus, Wis. passed away unexpectedly on January 6th, 2025.

Born on February 6th, 1968, in Madison, Wis. The son of the late Richard and Rachel Hermanson.

Kevin was a beloved member of the community, known for his unwavering dedication to his work, his friends, and above all, his family. Kevin graduated from Verona High School, part of the Class of 1986. Kevin was united in marriage to Stephanie W Howell on June 18th, 1994. Enjoying 30 years together.

Kevin has consistently demonstrated diligence and dedication in every task he undertakes. Over the years, he has taken on various roles, earning the respect and admiration of his peers as a valued team member. His steadfast work ethic has been the cornerstone of his 20+ years of service with Operator Engineers Local 139, working for WK Construction.

Kevin's passion for adventure was evident in his love for motorcycling, and snowmobiling. He has spent countless hours exploring the scenic trails of Wisconsin, the UP of Michigan, and beyond accompanied by friends and family who shared his enthusiasm for the open road and snowy landscapes. Kevin spent many countless hours traveling with his beloved wife who was always at his side and enjoying the adventure of traveling.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Stephanie Hermanson; his brother, Gregory Hermanson; his daughters, Kailey Hermanson (Kasey Poden), Tessa Dreger (Scott); his aunt, Reta Kratochvil (John); uncles, Rolyn Hermanson (Mary) and Dorian Hermanson; granddaughters, Ashlyn and Izzy; and many cousins and extended family members.

Kevin is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Richard and Rachel Hermanson; his aunt, Ruth Gierhart (Roger); aunt, Sue Hermanson (Dorian).

A visitation will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 220 Enterprise Dr, Verona, WI on January 18th, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST, service starts at 1 p.m. CST. A luncheon to follow at 2 p.m. CST at Fifth Quarter, 161 Horizon Dr #110, Verona, WI.

A further Celebration of Life will be held in White Pine, Michigan TBD for the many friends that have become family in Kevin's home away from home.

Kevin's unexpected passing leaves a void in the hearts of everyone that knew him. Kevin was loved by many and will be missed by all.
