Macon, Georgia - Funeral Services for Walter Charles Gray, Jr. will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Lizzieboro Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Services will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville. Mr. Gray, 74, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Gray; children, Walter Charles Gray, III and Tenisha Houston; three sisters; four brothers; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public Viewing will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 2 PM until 3 PM ONLY. FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Hello, my name is Joel Cegielski. I was in the army with Walter at Fort Knox in 1969. He went to Vietnam and later so did I. We lost touch and I have looked for him many times.
Walter was a great friend. A fun guy who did his job in the Army to the highest levels. He will be missed and it saddens me that I couldn´t find him before his passing.
