Mitch is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Edele (Dell) Rabalais; their son Matthew Rabalais; their daughter Elizabeth (Lisa) Breaux and husband, Patrick; and his beloved grandchildren Thaddeaus Breaux, Katherine Breaux, and Nathaniel Breaux. He is also survived by his sisters Carol Plauche and husband Gary, and Iris Smith; as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Mitch’s very dear cousins Wanda Scallan, Effie Leonard, and Kathy Woods, to the St. George Fire Department, and the nurses and Staff at Pinnacle Hospice. They would also like to extend their thanks to the host of people who helped them during this difficult time, including the wonderful help from their dear friends and neighbors, Wayne and Cynthia Rabalais.
