FREMONT - Randall L. Baird, 63, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024.
Randall was born on April 3, 1960, in Auburn, Indiana, to Charles and Shirley (Clark) Baird.
He graduated from DeKalb High School in 1978. He received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
Randall married the love of his life, Laura Schantz, on Feb. 3, 2001.
He worked at Industrial Contracting & Engineering in Angola, Indiana.
Randall enjoyed fishing and sitting in his beach chair overlooking the Caribbean. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years, Laura Baird, of Fremont, Indiana; his daughters, Elamie (Kyle) Hartman, of Albion, Indiana, and Ashley (Brad) Rittner, of Toledo, Ohio; and his five beloved grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Kip (Darlene) Baird, of Auburn, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jeffrey Baird.
Private services will be held at a later date.
