ANGOLA - Gale Lawrence Fisher, 87, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at Cameron Memorial Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.
Gale was born on Sept. 7, 1937, to Clifford and Dorthea Fisher, in Angola.
Both parents preceded him in death; along with two wives, Gloria (Boyd) and Connie (Holsinger); and one son, Jeffrey Lynn.
A sister, Pamela Henney, of Angola, survives. Other surviving family members include two sons, James (Pamela) Fisher and Steve (Dianne) Fisher, of Angola; and two daughters, Jeanne (Adam) Teegarden, of Stanley, North Carolina, and Julie Moor, of Tipp City, Ohio. Gale had several grandchildren, Jessica Schneider, Angela Leslie, Aaron Fisher, Scott Fisher, Amanda Fisher, Mark Cliffman, Casey Book, Kayla Coache, Ashley Mahoney, Gloria Moor, Ali Lothamer, Felicia Gendron, James Walker Jr., and Austin Hartman; and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Bennett, Connor McClelland, Em Leslie, Norman Leslie Jr., Trinity Fisher, Brayden Fisher, Owen Fisher, Raelynn Fisher, Braxton Middleton, Caidie Middletown, Ally Fisher, Nash Book, Lane Book, Rhett Book, David Cliffman, Jesse Cliffman, Bentley Schorey, Wyatt Schorey, Zelda Gendron, Vivience Gendron, Lucas Walker, Colton Engle, Elijah Hartman and Melanie Hartman.?
Gale was a member of Flint United Methodist Church, Angola, Indiana.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at Flint United Methodist Church, 510 N. Flint Road, Angola, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, prior to the service at the church.
Burial will take place immediately following the service at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Gale may be made to Flint United Methodist Church.
