James White Obituary

James Warren White
Born: June 9, 1936 in Markleton, PA
Died: February 27, 2024 in Geneva, IL
James Warren White of Geneva, IL. born June 9, 1936 (87) in Markleton, Pa. Passed away peacefully at his home on February 27, 2024. Son of the late Wilbur and Violet White. He was a devoted husband to his wife Patricia (Davis) and a loving father to his sons Eric and Jason (Becca) of Batavia, IL and brother Douglas (Judith) of Westcliffe, Co.
He is survived by grandchildren Allycia, Kyle, Mikayla, Michael and Harlow. Great grandchildren Elliot, Oliver, Liam and Charlie. And nephews Brent and Brady.
James first met Patricia in Chicago in 1960. They married in 1964 and began their 60-year marriage together and had two sons. James was a kind, loving and supportive father and husband who worked tirelessly to ensure his family always had everything they needed. Never deterred, he faced every challenge in life with strength, courage and a positive attitude. His knowledge and guidance were the foundation of his family.
A long-time resident of Geneva, previously of Lake Dalecarlia, In and Denville, NJ. James grew up in Markleton, Pa. As a young man he excelled in football and had an interest in nature and science.
He then went on to college at West Liberty college in W.Virginia and then into the chemical manufacturing industry where he was a lab tech and then later moved into equipment sales.
In 1982 James founded White Industrial Technologies. He had a passion for his work and for making sure he did the best job possible for his customers. James was a true role model who learned early in life the importance of hard work, forming relationships, keeping your word and doing what is right. He lived his work and personal life this way and he instilled these same values in his sons.
Some hobbies he enjoyed were woodworking, home improvement projects, music, singing and he was an avid tennis player but his favorite thing was spending time with family and loved ones. James will be remembered by those who knew him for his warm, humble demeaner, kind smile and truly genuine personality.
