Chasity Norman Obituary

Chasity Norman, 42, a native of Houma and a resident of Gray, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Daniel Norman, Jr.; daughter, Haleigh and husband Roy; cousin, Bobby and wife Brette; best friend, Aleisha Verret and husband Joe; best friend Brandye Adams and husband Sam; grandmother-in-law, Geraldine Dion and husband Paul; and her fur babies, Roxie and Karma Cat, along with many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley LeBoeuf Chauvin and Warren Chauvin; and father-in-law, Daniel Norman, Sr. Chasity truly lived her life to the fullest from taking yearly trips to Dollywood in Tennessee and spending time with family and her fur babies. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Passages Hospice of New Orleans for their excellent care and compassion. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Samart Funeral Home in Gray from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm. Online condolences can be given at www.samartfuneralhome.com.
