Patti Brock Obituary
July 3, 1967 - August 9, 2024
Patrice Angela "Patti" Westbury Brock, age 57 of Griffin passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at her residence following a valiant battle with breast cancer.
Patti was born in Griffin, Georgia on July 3, 1967. Her parents, James Richard "Jim" Westbury, Sr. and Loretta Chambley Westbury, infant son, Evan Richard Brock; brother-in-law, Rick Griffin; and her beloved Willie Bell Touchstone, all preceded her in death. Patti was a graduate of Georgia Southern. After graduation she was the former Social Service Director at Westbury Medical Care in Jackson. Patti was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and attended Christ Chapel in Zebulon in recent years. She loved her family, going on trips to the lake and mountains.
Survivors include her husband, Byron Brock; sons, David Brock, and Adam Brock; sister, Penny Westbury Griffin; sister-in-law, Drew Carden Westbury; bonus mother, Linda Westbury; nieces, Kitty Westbury, Kami Westbury, Karoline Westbury, and Kaysen Westbury; nephew, Tyler Griffin (Dana and their children, Avery and Brayden); nephew, Keaton Wise (Kelsey and their son, Walker); nephew, Kip Wise; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Hariett Brock; sister-in-law, Jennifer Brock Smith (Kelly); and their children, Amelia Manning (Hunter), Mary Brock Hart (Sam), Thomas Smith; several aunts, uncles, cousins; many dear friends; brother, James Westbury Jr. (children Jay and Mattie); and brother, Joe Westbury.
The family wishes to thank Brightmoor Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Patti.
Visitation For Patti Westbury Brock will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Trinity Methodist Church 501 West Broad Street, Griffin. A funeral service will follow in the sanctuary. Reverend Tyler Griffin and Reverend Debby Stikes will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Patti asked that you consider making a contribution to Georgia Hair Solutions & Salon, 1139 E. 3rd Street, Jackson, Georgia 30233, www.georgiahairsolutions.com in her honor as she was always thinking about how she could help others. This salon assists cancer patients with custom wig solutions.
