Ronald Millard Obituary

Ronald I. "Lumpy" Millard, 67, of Montrose, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022 at EMHS after a long and courageous battle.
He was born on November 8, 1954 in Montrose, PA to the late Edward W. and Lillian M. "Skip" (Pratt) Millard.
Ron is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tracy (Smith) Millard; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle (Jonah) Eberlin, Sugar Run, PA; son, Ronnie Millard, Laceyville, PA, several grandchildren; sister, Judy M. Millard, South Montrose, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Michelle Millard, Hamilton, OH and aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ron graduated from Montrose High School in 1972 and then worked at Bendix, where he received many achievement awards, until the plant closed.
He married the love of his life, Tracy on July 19, 1996. He loved golf, especially with his buddies, Pat and Pinky. He also loved to hunt, bowl, was an avid reader, and a huge Yankees and Michael Jordon fan.
Lumpy was a kindhearted person who would do anything for anyone. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and brother who was taken from us to early, and will be greatly missed by all. Rest in Peace.
A Memorial Service for Ron will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 5pm at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, 232 S. Main St., Montrose with Pastor Bob Kadlecik officiating. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 4-5pm prior to the service.

My deepest sympathies to Ronnie's family and friends. Ronnie's hellos were always friendly, with a smile and sprinkled with kind words. Lots of us said, he was one the best all-around athletes from the class of '72. Rest in peace friend.

I’m the short amount of time I got to know Ron and Tracy I felt blessed. I got to see a husband who found comfort and compassion from an amazing wife. And I got to witness a loving wife have strength not only for herself but for her husband as well. It was my pleasure to have gotten to meet them both. I truly hope I made even a sliver of a difference in his last days, because he will always have a mark in mine. My condolences are with the entire family as they go through this hard time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
