Wanda Thomas Obituary
1943-2022
Wanda Gray Thomas, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, receiving her heart's desire to go to Heaven and be with Jesus who loves her immensely, following her 13-year battle with lung cancer. She was the beloved wife of Ed Thomas for 55 years; and beloved mother of Suzanne Thomas Werlein (51), Stephen Thomas (48), and Paul Thomas (45); and beloved Grammy to eight grandchildren. Wanda was a blessing to her neighbors and community, as well as to many people in other countries – particularly Ukraine and Russia – where she led many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Wanda's Homegoing Celebration will be officiated by Pastor Ken Werlein at Faithbridge Church (18000 Stuebner-Airline Rd. Spring, TX 77379), at 11am on Wednesday, March 23, with reception following. Dear precious Thomas family,
Having known your beloved mother for many, many years, I am positive she would have appreciated each of you for your sweet way of honoring our Lord through her life today. I was so grateful to Becky for letting me know of her graduation to her perfect heavenly home, where she is totally healed and rejoicing in our God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) right now! May each of you continue her legacy as you use your gifts in our Lord’s service.

Wanda and Ed took great care of me and Ro while in MD Anderson back in 2005. She was absolutely a wonderful person in every way. We traveled the world together with CRU and enjoyed every time with them. Wanda is now really healed and in the loving arms of Jesus!
