Mr. Carl Webster "Chuck" Grubb, III, age 63, of Trinity, passed away on September 24, 2023, at his cherished home. He was born on October 26, 1959, in Guilford County, the beloved son of Carl Webster Grubb, Jr., and Linda Sue Howington Grubb.
Chuck was a proud lifelong resident of the Archdale-Trinity community. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1978 and High Point College in 1982. He enjoyed a long and successful career as an entrepreneur. Chuck and his family are members of Archdale Friends Meeting. He was proudly a longtime member of Colonial Country Club. He carried on a family legacy of Duke fandom and was a member of the Iron Dukes. In 1983, he married Pamela "Pam" Jones, his loving wife who was the light of his life.
Chuck is survived by his daughter, Kelly Musgrave, and her husband Jeremy; and his son, Carl Webster "Web" Grubb IV, and his wife Riley; two cherished sisters, Pamela "Pam" Greene and her husband Chuck, and Lynn Staub and her husband Bill. He was a doting Papa to two grandsons, Watson Wilkes Musgrave and Carl Webster "Penn" Grubb V, who brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind his beloved niece and nephews. He cherished his many friends and especially his "card playing buddies".
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 29, at Archdale Friends Meeting. The service will be officiated by Rodney Kirby and Scott Wagoner, with a visitation to follow in the Family Life Center at the Meeting. A private interment will conclude the visitation at the meeting columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to the Carl and Linda Grubb Family YMCA at 609 Trindale Rd. Archdale, NC 27263.

Pam I was so sad to hear of Chuck´s passing. When Mom told me I was shocked. I have been thinking about you family daily in my prayers along with Aunt Carol and Uncle Max. I love you dear cousin.
