Lillian Noble Obituary
Lillian Francine "Fran" Noble of Greeley, Colorado passed away on October 20, 2021. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to Nettie McIntosh Barnes and Elmer Noble and was one of five children. Fran's siblings were deeply revered by her, and she often spoke of them, telling stories of their childhoods. She was preceded in death by her eldest sister, Betty Noble, her middle siblings Kenneth "Kenny" Noble and Mary Aufuldish as well as her parents. Fran is survived by her brother, Phillip (Connie) Noble as well as sister-in-law Marjory Noble of Bloomington, Illinois, brother-in-law Gerald Aufuldish of Miamisburg, Ohio, daughters Tammy (Tim) Moisant, Chrystal Goodrich, Michelle (David) Williams. Grandchildren include Joshua Moisant, Brandon Moisant, Amy Moisant, Caleb Moisant, Nicole Sanburg, and Heather Heinz. Great grandchildren include Dristyn, Evangeline, Gillian, and Jacob. She attended West Carrollton High School and continued her education, taking evening business classes. After settling in Colorado, she would often make lengthy road trips home to Ohio where she would spend time with family. She shared many stories of her childhood about visiting her grandparents in Kentucky. Her grandmother, Regina, instilled hard work and taught her to show kindness to others. Fran was well-loved by her family, friends, and many members of the local community as she worked in the service industry for decades. She loved helping people and had a tremendous work ethic. Fran had a highly spirited soul, always meeting new faces, traveling, and adorning eclectic fashion. Above work, her family remained of high importance, and she chose to spend nearly all of her free time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren among others. Her life passions included gardening, a hobby in which she humbly possessed a green thumb, baking and cooking which she learned from and practiced with her grandmother and mother, sewing which she spent almost her entire life enjoying, crafting for decorative purposes and holidays with family, shopping, going for walks, watching movies and spending time outdoors, often in the mountains and in her younger years at the beach. One of her favorite places to visit was Estes Park, Colorado which she would frequent with her children early-on and later her grandchildren. She loved the sunshine. Fran was renowned for her peanut butter fudge as well as her signature beef and noodles. One of her favorite deserts which she often spoke of was a chocolate pie her mother made throughout her childhood. She repeatedly tried to mimic the recipe just as her mother had made it. She was always happy to feed people and educate younger generations in her family with her knowledge of being in the kitchen. One of her many dreams in life was to experience Hawaii. In 2012, she fulfilled this dream by taking a brave, solo trip to the island of Oahu, where she basked in the warm weather, enjoyed the scenery and met many new people. There is no denying the immense love she held for her family, and she especially found joy in watching everyone grow. She was the quintessential "Grandma," who reveled in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren by spending an abundance of quality time with them whenever she had the ability to do so. Fran's special presence will be so greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 18 at O'Connor Pavilion in Estes Park from 12p-4p. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome. Please contact Nikki to RSVP at 970-405-5797.
