Kathleen Icenhower Obituary

Kathleen Burchfield Icenhower, 86 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gardner L. and Betty Williams Burchfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Burchfield and Ralph Burchfield; and sister, Nora Lee Anderson.
Kathleen is survived by her sons, Donald Icenhower (Sandy) of Weaverville, N.C., Scott Icenhower (Pamela) of Maryville, Tenn., and Steve Icenhower (Tonya) of Robbinsville, N.C.; sister, Iva Jean Massie (Fred) of Rockford, Ill.; sister-in-law, Gloria Burchfield; grandchildren: Carla Icenhower (Tim Nichols), Lewis Icenhower (Cayley), Adarian Nelms (Jacob), Coy Jordan (Maddi), Madison Webster (Casey) and Tatum Phillips; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday July 19, 2025, at Meadow Branch Primitive Baptist Church. The Revs. Noah Williams and Onley Williams officiated.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service. Burial followed in the Farley Branch Cemetery.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home was honored to serve the Icenhower family.
